Neoclassical Mirror, Mahogany & Fabulous Mixed Woods Inlay. Vase, Vines, Patera, Swag. This is a wonderful, heavily framed mirror. It has over a century of use and the mirror does show it. To me it has character and it is still very usable. The wood and the inlay is great shape there are some chips on the bottom of the frame on the front. They have been touched up so they are not so visible but they are there. It is truly a classy piece even with its wear. It measures 42"H x 52.5"W x 1"D. You will love it in person. In 11 years in the business the is the only mirror I have seen like this one and certainly one of the most striking. This gorgeous decorative art piece is a classy statement in whatever room you place it in. Although it is not a sculpture you could certainly consider it a fine piece of art glass. The mirror is amazingly appropriate in dark or light settings . Everything reflected in it is enhanced especially if you are in front of it. It is carved,cut, etched, and beveled to death. The top is centered with what appears to be a lovely butterfly and it is surrounded with a lovely floral garden covering the mirrored frame. This was bought in England several decades ago as an old piece and they paid $1,200 for it then. It measures 51"H x 23.5"W. It is perfectly proportioned and waiting for your wall.
