White 10 inch platter/plate has scalloped edges with and nice detailing around around the outer edges. There is a gold or bronze undertone covered in white approximately one inch of the edging which gives the platter a unique icing look. Two bean size holes are on opposite sides for a handle effect. This platter is not marked by a maker. However, we do have a larger platter similar to this one that is from Germany. We buy entire estates and pass the savings on to you. This white platter has scalloped edges and extends on two sides to form handles. There is a gold undertone color surrounding the outer edge of the platter. The fact that the white color does not cover the gold completely gives the plate and icing effect. Elegant!! The back of the plate reads: Plankenhammer, Floss, Bavaria, Germany.
