Description Shipping Info   1940's Grand Central telephone booth. Outside is made of mahogany, the inside is lined in metal. The measurements are 83"H X 30.5"W X 30.5"D. Inside contains a wooden seat and a metal shelf for the phone or could be used as a writing station. Glass paneled door glides closed easily. Electric vent and overhead light are in working condition. There are names, love notes, and phone numbers carved into the sides of this piece. This piece was obtained in 1967 when Grand Central was remodeled and was recently acquired by us in an estate that we purchased.
