Tiffany & Company Sterling Silver Tray, Plate,11", Raised.
This tray being 11.5” would have a value of $2,000 to $2,500. If the tray is at least 18 inches in diameter it should fetch in the $2500 to $3000 price range at auction. Over 20 inches it would definitely bring more than $3000.

Just superb. This very fine, sterling silver, Tiffany & Co. raised plate is a rare find for your silver collection. The tray was made between 1907 and 1947, while John C. Moore was Tiffany & Co.'s design director -- Thus the lower case m under the trade mark (his grandfather, Edward C. Moore, used an upper case M) My guess is that it is from the early years of his tenure between 1907 & 1920, since John Moore is best known for his designs in the American Colonial Revival and Art Deco styles. This tray rest on a 3/8" high circular ring which raises its total height to 1". It monogram reads SBA. We have not cleaned this piece nor has it been repaired in any way to our knowledge. Get this extra rare find while you can! Please visit our online store, Aardvark-Antiques, or come to either of our 2 stores located near Atlanta.
