This white platter has scalloped edges and extends on two sides to form handles. There is a gold undertone color surrounding the outer edge of the platter. The fact that the white color does not cover the gold completely gives the plate and icing effect. Elegant!! The back of the plate reads: Plankenhammer, Floss, Bavaria, Germany.
