American Empire Gentleman's Chest! What a great treasure you have found here. Finely crafted this piece should last hundreds more years. Six small drawers are set back on top (Needs brass pulls) large top drawer with 3 set back lower drawers. Truly unique and rare design on this heirloom. Glass pulls and locking drawers with their brass key findings. This 1840’s, probably New York chest, has fine crotched mahogany covering the front. It has wear and tear. A couple of cracks in the wood but this practical furniture is built like a tank! We buy entire estates and pass the savings on to you.
