This is an absolutely stunning chest. Full of hand carved details. At first look you are captivated by the beautiful crotched mahogany that adorns the front of the drawers and sides. The top middle drawer has a carving of a delicate flower. Beautifully reeded columns with acanthus leaves carved at the sides of the chest. Drawers are hand cut dovetailed with original brass key findings, key included, and wooden knobs. There is some wear to the top of the chest, overall in great condition. I imagine I will have some wear when I get that age too. The measurements are 20" D x 44"W x 42"H.
