Description   Purchased from a private estate, we are proud to offer the true collector of maritime memorabilia this extraordinary, authentic porthole.  It measures  a whopping 20 inches in diameter and weighs an incredible 21.2 lbs, just on its own.  It opens just fine, fully functional; with only minor scratching and wear and (as shown) is nothing at all that takes away from the piece.  There are no major scratches on the glass, and it has managed to stay in remarkably good condition.  It is constructed of a heavy brass mounting frame and ring that mounts to the wood exterior glass frame made of  teak wood  put together with dowels. There is a decorative chrome plated grill over the glass. The chrome is worn but this in no way affects the collect ability or the quality of this pieces yet adds to the nautical character. We've provided you with many photographs to show you its condition in detail.
