"Recitation". Victorian Parlor Print Painted by Carl Scwheninger. A Genre, Animal and Landscape painter. Austrian, 1818-1887. I love this painting. Even though is has some slight damage and water stains it is just beautiful and adds character to the aged piece that it is. The frame is still gorgeous even though there are some of the raise decorative sections missed and chipping. I would have no problem hanging this on my wall as is. It is by Schweninger, Entitle Recitation, printed in London by L. Hildeshimer & Co. Very Classy. The frame measures 42"W x 34"H. The print measures 29"W x 21.5"H.
